Quick back story:
When I started my original website (High Speed Health) in 2012, I had no idea what my specific focus would be. And I just knew:
- I wanted to solve my multiple health problems caused by sitting at a desk.
- I wanted to help other people improve their quality of life.
- And I was so passionate that I would make a career out of it one day.
Back in 2012, I broke out a notebook and started documenting what would turn out to be a powerful transformation of healing.
Present day:
I’ve finally realized what my specific focus will be: Sitting Posture.
Although the main focus of my website will be posture, we’ll expand into other areas of sitting ergonomics.
ergonomics [noun] – the study of people’s efficiency in their working environment (definition credit: Google).
I’ve broken down SittingPosture.com into these 8 ergonomic categories.
- Posture
- Hydration
- Nutrition
- Breathing
- Body Awareness
- Sleep Quality
- Self Healing
- Professional Healing
All of them are directly related to posture, pain, and repetitive strain injuries that are caused by sitting at a desk for long periods of time.
I’m also a big fan of taking a big problem and dissecting it into a bunch of small attainable solutions.
Everything I talk about, I’ve learned it during my own personal experience. My 12+ year career includes a few stagnant, stressful desk jobs that were 40+ hours per week. That’s more than 27,000 hours at a desk. Not including any grade school or college!
SittingPosture.com has essentially been a huge undertaking with an incredibly rewarding outcome. I’ve received massive long-term results by persistently sticking to small daily habit changes.
Proper sitting ergonomics didn’t only decrease my everyday pain. It improved my productivity, energy, posture, mental clarity, flexibility, strength, and range of motion. I want to share my story and best practices to heal current pain. And prevent future injuries (caused by sitting at a desk).
My mission is to make sitting posture (and ergonomics) easy to understand and quick to implement.
Thanks and see you soon.

This book explains how to improve your posture through different variables of health and wellness. These include sitting posture, standing posture, sleep, hydration, and breathing. Poor posture is not just how we sit at a computer. The health habits we practice, 24 hours a day, are directly related to how good (or bad) our computer posture is.
